I’ve always been creative. I love making things with my hands (shoutout high school ceramics class) and writing (I had my own series of self-illustrated stories by the time I was 7). When I was about 12, I started handwriting my lowercase “a”s like a typewriter font. Then someone told me it looked cool so I kept doing it, and have been ever since. That worked really well in my custom greeting card “business” I started around the same time. It was actually just free labor for my friends and family, but it was a great outlet for my creativity and love for lettering and fonts (and was also how I perfected the “a”).

I have since turned to a purposeful, real-world application of these skills in the form of advertising. This is how I am choosing to give meaning to my work, by adding as much creativity and fun to the world as I can. Check out my work thus far, and reach out (for birthday card commissions, handwriting tips, or general conversation!)
